St. Brieux, SK – July 15, 2024 – Bourgault Industries is proud to announce the release of a 130 ft³ Granular Applicator Option that can be factory installed onto the XR851™ and XR871™ eXtended Range Harrows. This product is designed in collaboration with The Salford Group, which is an industry first for size, ease of use and productivity!
Designed for maximum productivity whether combatting herbicide resistant weeds with pre-emergent products or grass/cover crop application, the 1356 is all about maximizing acres per hour and reducing fill/loading times.

This new option is available on both the 5 row XR851 and 7 row XR871 models:

• Equipped with Salford Application Technology,
• 130 ft3 steel tank with full catwalk access,
• Hydraulic metering drive with ISO control.
• Achieve precise application using Salford’s Valmar 56 Series metering system!
• Available on both 90’ and 110’ harrow widths.
• Factory installation is available.

The XR8 Series was recently released this past April and was designed to support this new applicator on the hitch.

The 1356 Granular Applicator option will be available to order later his summer for spring 2025 use. It may be ordered as a factory install and will be made available to add onto existing XR8
machines early next year.
