Precise Seed Placement & Unmatched Durability
- The 5700 AHD featured a 140" (3.56 m) distance between the front wheels and packers. This short distance allowed for the highest precision in seed placement.
- Although the 5700 had the shallowest frame design in the industry, the unique 5-row frame depth provides for maximum residue passage. The minimum between any two shanks is 28".
- The front caster wheels are positioned inside the hoe drill frame with the packers mounted tightly behind the rear trips to provide you with a very shallow wheel-to-packer depth for outstanding contour following capabilities and precise seed placement.
- The 5700's heavy-duty construction, from the frame to the axles and packers, is built to stand the test of time. The trip assemblies have been proven totally reliable over hundreds of millions of acres.
- Heavy duty 21-3/8 (54.3 cm) diameter steel packer wheels are constructed using 11 gauge high strength steel, doubled up on the packing face for extra strength and excellent wear resistance.
- Heavy duty packer wheels are mounted on walking gangs to allow the packers to clear obstacles with ease.
- A pole style hitch is standard equipment and allows for sharp turns without the worry of the tractor tire striking the hitch.
- The unique self leveling hitch for towing the air seeder behind the drill's mainframe. This feature helps to prevent the seeder from pulling up or down on the drill and adversely affecting seeding depth.
- Dual wheels are standard on the main frame casters and rear transport standards for a smooth ride, even on rougher country roads.
