One of the stand-out features of the 1200 Grain Cart is the turret auger design which makes unloading into a grain truck a breeze!

Turret Design

The turret-style unloading auger allows grain to be placed accurately when cart to truck alignment is less than perfect; it also makes topping off a load a manageable task. With a nearly horizontal turret unloading auger, the Operator also avoids potential contact between the auger housing and the grain truck.

Unique Belt Drive System

The 1200 Grain Cart incorporates a belt drive to engage the drag auger. The soft start system uses a hydraulic actuated belt tensioner and a slip clutch that has a 200 H.P. rating to ensure smooth operation.

Auger flighting is designed to resist wear and minimize the chance of plugging.

Abrasion Resistant Flighting

The vertical auger has a ¼" thick abrasion resistant sectional flighting at the intake and discharge ends. The remainder of the auger has a ³⁄₁₆" thick ribbon flighting added to the outside of the existing ⁵⁄₁₆" thick flighting to ensure a long auger life.

All auger flightings are balanced and ride on bearings for smooth and quiet operation. By suspending the auger flightings on bearings, the life expectancy of the auger tubes and flighting is greatly increased.

An overrunning slip clutch provides protection on the main drive shaft.

Quality Drive Line

The unloading system will auger millions of bushels without repair. Quality components are used throughout the 1200 Grain Cart to ensure reliability and durability. An overrunning slip clutch provides protection on the main drive shaft. Oversized gear boxes with hardened keys, constant velocity joints and rubber dampening units can be found on the vertical and turret augers.

Underside trap doors can be opened to empty the contents through the openings.

Complete Clean-Out

The 1200 Grain Cart features a system which allows complete clean-out for both the auger and the tank. Underside trap doors can be opened to empty the contents through the 6" x 56" openings. This allows for fast cart unloading when using a pit.

A Harvest Scenerio

A barley crop yielding 80 bu/acre with 2 combines operating in good to ideal weather conditions could realize almost 45 acres/hr.
A combine harvester with 36' head can achieve over 20 acres/hr @ 5 mph.
This combine will fill its 320 bushel hopper in approximately 10 minutes.

Tank Mesh Windows

Mesh windows, located on the front and back panels of the 1200 Grain Cart tank allow the Operator to see how much product is in the tank and to detect traffic when in-transport for increased safety. Your neighbor won’t have to follow you on a narrow road waiting for you to pull over so that he/she can pass!

The Best Lighting in the Industry

Good lighting is a must for evening operation and transport. Working lights are provided on the turret auger to provide unloading visibility. A light on the inside of the grain tank allows the Operator to see the level of product in the grain tank. As well, marker and signal lights are located on the rear of the cart for safe transport.

By installing walking axle lock pins, the 1200 Grain Cart can be transported on a 8' wide deck eliminating the need for special trailers or trailer extensions.

Standard Roll Tarp

Protect the contents of the 1200 Grain Cart. Simply retract the turret auger over the center of the cart and roll the tarp cover over the unloading system and the cart's contents.

Upgrade Your Harvest Workhorse

A number of options are available to upgrade the 1200 Grain Cart including tarp covers, lug tires and weigh scales.

Tire Selection

21.5L x 16.1 Lug - The lug tire option uses a 14 ply tractor lug type tire, providing ample carrying capacity for heavy loads in all conditions. Special consideration should be given to this tire if conditions can be typically wet at harvest time. The lug pattern on this tire will keep them rolling in extreme wet conditions, as well as the ability to shed mud.

21.5L x 16.1 Highway - This tire provides a smooth riding tire for both field and road. It does not ‘scrub’ as much in the field when making tighter corners, and rides smoother on road surfaces.

Electronic Weight Scale & Printer

Track yields and inventory accurately with optional electronic weigh scales. An optional printer allows the operator to keep records of each load.

Unload Either Side

The unloading auger is retracted over the tank for safe transportation. A kit can be ordered for the 1200 turret auger, allowing the operator to select unloading the cart from either the right or the left hand side. (Optional Kit Required)

Air Seeder Loading Kit

The downspout extension can be installed on the 1200 Grain Cart. With the downspout extension installed, the grain cart can be used to fill the air seeder tank with product.

Shutoff gates are included in the option to slow down (choke) the product flow for more controlled output. These gates can also be used for controlling output under normal harvest operations. In some cases, it can make the cart easier to operate in crops such as peas.
