Bourgault Introduces Wing Tank
On 9000 I Series And Model Year 2026 Value Improvements

St. Brieux, SK – November 12, 2024 – Bourgault Industries is proud to announce the model year 2026 9000 I Series air cart Wing Tank option. This innovative option available for next year on the L9950 and 91300 air carts make the 91300 with the Wing Tank the largest tow behind air seeder on the market at 1366 bushels. Introduced to dealers at the Bourgault Seeds for Success event in Phoenix, AZ on November 6th, the Wing Tank with 66 Bushels of useable fill volume is increasing customer productivity and agronomic flexibility without a separate filling or loading system. This is Capacity without Complexity.

“The Wing Tank Builds on the success and evolution of the Bourgault Saddle Tank which was introduced with our customer’s need for a 5th tank. The need for not only extra capacity but a 5th metered product drove the evolution in size of the Saddle Tank. Now as we head into 2025 and beyond our customers are continuing to look for more capacity and flexibility while reducing weight and compaction. Oh and if you could make it cheaper that would be great as well.” Commented George Code Territory Manager with Bourgault.

“We had cooperator producers using the 66 bu capacity to seed over 900 acres of canola before refilling with the Bourgault conveyor directly into the tank. With the accuracy of the load cells and the Bourgault DynaCal system the producer knew exactly what was being applied every acre and could trust their high value products in this increased capacity configuration.”

Bourgault focused the design of the Wing Tank to maximize customer productivity with 66 Bushels of useable capacity and allowing more acres in a day with less filling. Standard with small-scale load cells to increase accuracy, and an in-tank camera for peace of mind. The Wing Tank can be utilized as a regular tank to extend acres per fill of products in the 4 main tanks or can be utilized for maximum agronomic flexibility to apply seed, inoculants, micro nutrients or fertilizer. All products can easily be filled directly from the same conveyor as the other tanks. With flush lid mounting and the added safety of a full catwalk with handrails this option will reduce fill times.

An additional benefit of the Wing Tank versus the Saddle Tank configuration is that with it fully loaded with product, the Wing Tank actually weighs less than the current 44 bu Saddle Tank, pallet storage and bulk boom. Those producers who choose the Wing Tank option next year will not be sacrificing soil compaction by carrying more product. This is Capacity without Complexity. The Wing Tank option will be available for order on Bourgault’s upcoming model year 2026 release on 91300 and L9950 Air Carts.
