The Leading 6455 Air Seeder is balanced and tested to ensure both hitch weight and ground compaction are within the Producer's parameters.

Air Cart Configuration - The Leading Air Seeder configuration is balanced and tested to ensure the ground pressure does not exceed 18 psi (124 kPa) when fully loaded*.
Leading Air Cart Hitch - The superior design and balance allows only approximately 6,500 lb (2,950 kg) hitch weight fully loaded*. Tractors may require a drawbar support kit.
Product Distribution System - The Bourgault Class A Product Distribution System includes the PDM Plus Metering Auger, Straight-Thru Primary Lines, and an Air Seeder Kit that is proven to be even, accurate, and gentle on all products.
Positive Displacement Metering
- PDM Pro Metering - A precise, finely pitched high-density poly metering auger draws product from a large, flow-through sump, through a machined metering orifice. The barrel of the auger housing is lined with a UMHW liner. (later models)
- PDM Plus Metering - The high density poly metering auger is matched with a machined steel orifice to provide accurate and consistent product metering (older models)
Transmission Metering Drive - The metering system transmits power from the drive wheel through a main clutch & drive shaft. Separate gearboxes are stationed along the drive shaft, each protected with it's own torque limiting clutch.
Good Floatation - Various Tire Options ensure good floatation & minimal compaction.
Cab Rate Adjust - The Cab Rate Adjust option allows you to adjust the metering rate of each individual metering auger on-the-go from the tractor cab. This feature is very convenient for making slight adjustments for product rates.
Tank Mounted Camera System - Bourgault offers a leading stand-alone monitoring system that allows you to watch what is happening in each compartment and behind the air seeder.
Product Lift System - Bourgault is the first in the industry to provide the Product Lift System for operator safety and convenience.

Exceptional Value & Rugged Dependability

Power Hydraulic Calibration - The Hydraulic Calibration feature will enable you to capture a large sample for a more accurate rate calculation, especially with low-rate products such as canola.
Model 591 Air Seeder Monitor - The 591 Air Seeder Monitor provides instantaneous feedback on air seeder operations including fan speed, application rate, bin levels, area seeded, & ground speed.
Optical Blockage Sensors - Available as single run or full run packages.
The X35 Apollo System
- Features a heads-up dashboard, customizable to view up to 8 air seeder functions with 3 viewable items per function.
- A Wi-Fi dongle, which is installed to the back of the X35 generates a local wireless hotspot that a smart phone or tablet can be connected to when the appropriate app is installed.
- The Topcon X30 Apollo, X30 1B1, and X20 Seeder Controllers were also an option on older models.
Load/Unload Auger
- The Standard 10" Auger, Load/Unload Rate: approx. 70 bu./min based on dry barley @ 48 lb/bu.
- The Deluxe 10" Auger, Load/Unload Rate: approx. 85 bu./min. (2995 l/min) based on dry barley.
Working Lights - Are located around the metering transmissions, the sides of the tank, the load/unload auger spout, cat walk, and on the rear of the air seeder to enhance productivity and safety during night time operation.
